Having Time to Spend vs. Risk Investing Money
Let’s touch on the ever-famous concepts of Time vs. Money or Time equals Money.
I don’t know about you, but the pandemic has led to being a bit tighter with the money. If you’re a bit flexible with how you put the time together like I’ve opted to do, it can give more value in the long run. I will admit one element that did help me opt for time over money is that I happen to have a good skillset.
I will say you can use your money to take a lot of shortcuts or speed things up. However, when it comes to the time elements make sure to consider the long-term value.
I Won’t Lie, Money Can Help A Lot
That’s the harsh reality of life, isn’t it? It’s a great option to get started sooner than later. Make sure you work on learning the skills that are ongoing expenses. Doing so will help cut down your long-term expenses. Once you’ve learned a skill you can make a more informed decision when investing in that skill.
Part of my time will be spent working on how-tos, tips, and tools to help you do that. You can see some tools up in the navigation at the top of the page under “Free Tools.” The how-tos will initially be done in video format on the ehh Books YouTube channel. Then I will work on writing out a post in case you prefer to learn in written format or if you’d like to have a text reference.
In that light, if you have any suggestions for tools, how-tos, or tips I should work on I’d love to hear about it. You can comment below. If you’d like to chat via email you can use the contact page. Another option is through any of my social media pages (links are at the top of this page). I’d appreciate a follow on any or all of them, either one would be awesome.
I promise that won’t be how I will treat your suggestions. Some might not be workable or complicated to figure out so they might take more time than others. I know it might sound weird but I do love helping others and getting the opportunity to teach.
How do you split up your time vs. money? Have you found any tips that could be helpful when it comes to making decisions on how to prioritize one over the other? As always I would love to hear about it.
