What is Low Content KDP? Learning to Make Low Content Books

I touched on it a bit in my post about deciding to share my journey. Learning about Low Content Books, and that Low Content KDP was a thing was a big part of diving into this venture.

In short Low Content Books are:

• Notebooks
• Planners
• Activity Books
• Puzzle Books
• Maze Books
• Coloring books
• And much more.

Thus Low Content KDP is the process of making said books. They are much faster to make than say novel, instructional, or fact types of books.

A nice bonus is that if you have a bit of a creative side the technical skills are easy to pick up if you don’t already have them. I believe everyone has a creative side, some haven’t explored it too much and that’s okay! Room for growth after all.

Like many others, I’m trying to find a way to make extra money. More so make extra money so I can spend less time focused on making money. I don’t have dreams of being a millionaire or billionaire I guess is more apt in today’s world. I want to have more time to do things with my family.

More time with the family, less time working.

A fair goal, don’t you think?

Low Content Books definitely sounded like they would fit the bill. They are relatively quick to make and then it’s the marketing that requires a bit of work. Then end goal of course making this become something more passive than active work.

Please, please, please don’t look at this as a “Set it and forget it!” type of thing.

Honestly, I don’t think that exists. Err, completely passive income, not the rotisserie cooker, that was totally a thing. Maybe if you have a large amount of money in some kind of savings account then you can live off the interest.

Sadly, that isn’t me. Yet!

In any case, a chance to be creative and make something sounded like a lot of fun. Also, I could use and expand upon my skills. But best of all was realized this could be a way to spend time with the kids. From coming up with ideas to spending time together creating things, it all sounded like a huge win, win!
